We are big on the idea of biomimicry. Nature has already solved much of our problems, the trick is to step back and recognize it. Viktor Schauberger was one of the best when it came to recognizing nature's way of using the movement of energy in water and air. We are obsessed with water at Rhibafarms, so it's natural that Schauberger is a big hero around here. A lot of effort is made to understand and incorporate his ideas of spirals and vortices into our water systems.

Have you ever wondered exactly what kind of fish we use in our aquaponics systems? We use the fish that most people use for aquaponic farming, the Tilapia. Being in an extremely hot climate, this fish is a blessing because they love the heat. Tilapia thrive on the heat so much that we actually have to use heaters to keep them happy during the winter even in Phoenix Arizona!
