Market goers tomorrow are in for a special treat. We are bringing a few bundles of our new Persian Cucumbers to the Phoenix and Gilbert markets. What's so special about a Persian Cucumber you ask? First of all they are very thin skinned and can be used with out peeling. Because the skin is thin they lack the sometimes bitter after taste you get with standard cucumbers. Persian Cucumbers are sweeter than a standard cucumber which makes them great in recipes for dips and creamy dressings. Of course you can use them in all the regular cucumber applications such as sandwiches and salads etc. They are great at retaining water which allows them to stay cool, the inside can be up to 20 degrees cooler than the exterior! This makes Persian Cucumbers a natural choice to cool you down during the upcoming extreme heat season.

Make sure you swing by our booth early tomorrow to ensure you get your hands on these beauties. It's going to be a hot weekend and one of these cukes may just end up in my refreshing Moscow Mule as my cool down after a long day.
