We had some young visitors to our ranch the other day. Their favorite part hands down was chicken town. Chicken town is endlessly amusing to kids, heck it’s very amusing even for us adults. Young people get very enthusiastic about farms and animals, which is pretty awesome. If you know a child who is into toy tractors and farms, then you have an opportunity to encourage the next generation of organic farmers. Farming is not the old man in overalls that a lot of people immediately think of. It is as relevant of a job today as it had been since the beginning of civilization. It is an industry of constant emerging technology and science and it needs a fresh supply of young and smart thinkers.
