In our last post I mentioned that we would be testing the array of claims found on the Internet about the many uses of wheatgrass. In this post we will be checking out one of the more useful functions of wheatgrass in regards to social situations. Will wheatgrass help with bad breath?
Suzie has just returned from lunch and tells us she had a heaping plate of garlic noodles. In our pre-wheatgrass breath check Melissa reports that it smells like Suzie has a mouth stuffed chock full of garlic cloves. As you all know garlic is a pretty hard odor to get rid off and admittitly I am very skeptical that the wheatgrass will be able to overcome such a strong scent. We juiced up one 4oz shot of wheatgrass and Suzie put it down the hatch.
Now for the moment of truth, the post wheatgrass breath check……Success! Melissa reports no sign of the garlic, just the smell of a freshly cut lawn. I am truly amazed with this one. Go out there and try it for yourself.
