Chicken Town is starting to look more like a town with the construction of our new nesting boxes. The new boxes are in the shape of a big red barn and a little white church. We also have added a nesting gazebo that the turkeys particularly like. Our birds are now nesting in style in their new digs. This is only the beginning, next up is the jail and school house plus a few more gazebos.

These creations are the work of master handyman Dave Atkinson, we met Dave by chance and hired him to do some work out at the ranch house in Gilbert. First he built the big red barn nesting box inspired from a barn that he previously built a few years back. After seeing the barn Mark brainstormed with Dave and decided to build a church next and made plans for the future chicken town buildings. I guess we will need to elect a chicken Mayor of chicken town next and since we are building a jail we will also need to find a Sheriff. It looks like chicken town is going to be growing fast so stay tuned here on the blog to see the rest of the buildings as they are erected in chicken town!
