Have you heard about the Valley Permaculture Alliance? They are an awesome collective of valley residents who are devoted to sustainable urban living. The group revolves around their multifaceted website which features forums, blogs, videos, an event calendar and tons more. It's all about educating members and the community at large on practices such as backyard chickens, urban gardens, composting and much more including aquaponics, which as you know is very near and dear to our hearts here at Rhibafarms. If you are a valley resident who practices or is interested in sustainable living, then you must check out the Valley Permaculture Alliance.

One of their upcoming events is a special permaculture alliance tour of our urban farm in Chandler. We will be giving an in-depth demonstration of our full scale commercial aquaponics system. It is going to be a great opportunity for us to share our knowledge that we have gained through developing and building this system with budding aquaponic farmers. Who knows, we may even learn a thing or two from this group of smart urban farmers.
